Become a Friend of Pepper

By becoming a Friend of Pepper you will be showing your commitment to supporting the work of the Pepper Children's Nurses, who continue their wonderful work caring for sick children and supporting their families throughout the Chilterns area. With your help The Pepper Foundation raises the money to enable them to carry on.

Friends of Pepper membership is valid for 12 months and runs on the calendar year. The minimum donation is £1 per month – or £12 a year – but please donate more if you are able to. Our running costs are constantly rising to keep pace with demand and our administration costs are kept to a minimum. We have one part-time employee only and everyone else is a volunteer.

Pepper needs to raise £350,000 in 2012 and we cannot do this from fundraising events alone. Only if we get regular income commitments can we guarantee the future of the Pepper nursing service. Joining the Friends of Pepper is a way to help us maintain our vital nursing service to children and their families.

Friends of Pepper receive:

• A personal copy of our lively Pepper News newsletter which is published 3 times a year.
• Details of events and the opportunity to purchase tickets* in advance of public ticket launches
  (eg. summer show, opera, ball and more)
  *note this offer is restricted to one application
    per  household, not per person.
   Max. 10 tickets per application.

Please consider donating by standing order – this saves both Pepper and you paperwork and time. To become a Friend, or renew your Friends of Pepper membership, please return a membership form to us and enclose this year’s donation or standing order form.  Alternatively, if you feel that you would prefer to send the standing order form directly to your bank, please feel free to do so.

To maximise your donation to us, simply complete the Gift Aid Declaration – please note that each individual who donates to Pepper and is a UK taxpayer should complete a Gift Aid Declaration to enable us to make legitimate gift aid claims. Returning the completed form to us enables Pepper to reclaim tax on your gift – currently 28p for every £1 donated – and it enables 40% taxpayers to claim further relief.
