Franki Knowles from Epson in Hemel Hempstead approached Pepper in April 2007 to ask for information about the charity as we were being considered as a contender for their charity of the year 2007. Information was sent immediately explaining the work of the charity and we are delighted to let you know that Lesley Fyson contacted Pepper again in May to announce that Epson had chosen Pepper as their 2007 Charity of the Year. Members of staff have already held a staff sale to fundraise on our behalf and Epson have kindly agreed to match all funds raised by staff. To date, after only a few weeks fundraising, £2588 has been donated to Pepper. The Trustees and the nurses and more importantly the children, thank Epson for their generosity and decision to choose us as their Charity of the year. |
