In previous copies of Pepper News, we reported how we are working more closely with families of the children who are supported by the Pepper nurses, so they can be aware of future plans and events and encourage their family and friends to get involved. It was as a direct consequence of this that the Shed@thePark team appeared in the marquee on the middle Sunday of this year’s Summer Show. Another outcome was a lead to Chelsea FC, that they may support us for one of their match day charity raffles. We wrote to Chelsea and were delighted to have received confirmation that they will support us this season with one of the raffles. We simply need to send sashes and brochures and they will confirm the date. Our Chairman Jonathan Tweed has offered to wear a sash in his swimsuit, but Chelsea reluctantly declined suggesting they use their own staff! |
