Berkhamsted artist creates special Christmas card
for Pepper

The Way Inn Christian Centre situated at the rear of the main Post Office in Berkhamsted High Street, is currently selling a special Christmas card based on a highly amusing Berkhamsted scene. The artist, Alma Duncan Rafter (Polly to her friends), taught art at the Collegiate School for almost 40 years from the 1950s to the 1990s and is now a volunteer at the Way Inn shop.

Cards are available in packs of 4 selling for £3.99 or individually at £1 each, of which 25% from either sale will go to The Pepper Foundation.

Pepper’s Fundraising Coordinator Liz Clarke commented, “We are delighted to be chosen to benefit from the sale of Polly’s cards this Christmas. The card design is an unusual montage based on Berkhamsted town centre and as such is a fun inspired alternative choice of greeting card to send to friends and family both locally and abroad during the festive season”
