The Elanel Hair and Beauty Salon in Aylesbury, Bucks, held a fundraising Day earlier this year in support of the Pepper Foundation, which raised an impressive £385 between the hours of 10am - 2pm. One member of staff, Joanne, was sponsored to have her hair coloured bright pink and the salon reduced the cost of all cuts to £5 including coloured hair extensions for children. Clients and staff were not daunted by the atrocious weather and did a magnificent job in raising so much money. Our thanks are extended to Lisa and her team in particular Joanne with the bright pink hair for realizing the importance of focusing on raising funds for such a worthwhile cause.14th July 2009 |
