NATO Ladies' lunch
Pepper Chairman Jonathan Tweed was recently invited to attend a themed lunch hosted by the wives of the international servicemen who work at NATO headquarters in Northwood, Middlesex.
The October theme was hosted by the wives of German servicemen who chose Pepper as their beneficiary from all the proceeds raised from the raffle which this year consisted of some very special prizes.
Jonathan spoke to an audience of around 50 wives, telling them all about the Pepper Foundation and the work we do for children with life-limiting illness’s which helped raise £140 for the charity through the raffle in addition to £40 from the sale of Pepper Piglets.
Everyone appreciated the genuine German food prepared by Barbara Mayer and her team of wives, which was complimented by themed place mats and authentic table settings.
This is the second event to be hosted by NATO for Pepper for which the Trustees and the nursing team express their sincere thanks and gratitude to all those who have generously made a contribution towards the work we do for sick children.
Our special thanks are also extended to Barbara Meyer for all the special work she volunteered on our behalf.
