As part of Children's Hospice Week (15th – 22nd May) , children's hospices all over the country are joining together in the art project called ‘This is my H ero' which is a national initiative run by Children's Hospices UK. Children who use hospice services and their siblings have taken part in this project and produced art work on the theme of ‘This is my Hero' . The Pepper Foundation have teamed up with the Eden Shopping Centre, High Wycombe and have an exhibition up in the Eden Centre, High Wycombe to display the artwork produced by Pepper patients and their siblings. A further two pieces of art produced by Pepper patients were chosen to be part of a National Exhibition in London . The pieces were also included in a feature in the Mail on Sunday's YOU Magazine on 2nd May 2010.

PEPPER This is my Hero Exhibition 
The Pepper nurses and support team held art workshops to encourage patients and their siblings to take part in this wonderful scheme and produce artwork of who they consider to be their “hero”. A few pieces were of mums, dads, sisters and brothers and one was even of the family dog!  |
