It doesn't matter, rain, heat waves, winds – whatever the weather the Tring Midsummer Fun Run, organised by the Tring Running Club in conjunction with the Iain Rennie Hospice at Home, draws in the crowds and this year was no different! The running conditions this year were good – but it was rather windy! On midsummer's day, Wednesday 21st June 2006 , the sixth annual Tring Midsummer Fun Run took place. Hundreds of people of all ages turned up to take part. There was a series of races over different distances ranging from one lap of the Tring Cricket Club field to a 6K senior race along the canal path. There were races for the under 7's, under 9's, under 11's, under 13's, under 15's and a race for the seniors. All proceeds from the evening, as well as any sponsorship raised by the runners will benefit the Iain Rennie Hospice at Home. |
IRHH would like to thank the Tring Running Club for organising yet another fabulous event!
