The reason why I am running for Iain Rennie is that one our great family friends was a patient of Iain Rennie. All the family said that due to this amazing charity their father/husband was cared for at home among his loved ones. The nurses took a lot of pressure off the family in an already extremely difficult time. Consequently our family friend was allowed to die in a dignified and personal manner.
I know that if I ever had a terminal illness, without a doubt, I would want to be cared for by a charity like Iain Rennie.
Moreover I feel very strongly about Iain Rennie due to it being a local charity and by knowing how important donations are to its success.
