| Not all Charity Shops Are The Same |
Janice, the manager of the Pepper shop in Amersham decided that working in the shop was a bit like being in a gold fish bowl and was keen to make the shop look different from the other nearby charity shops.
Assisted by talented volunteer, Chesham High School pupil, Ciara Lunn, Janice has transformed the shop window into Nemo's world complete with fish ‘swimming' inside the shop.
“I thought it would be a bit of fun and make us look different, We have had some very positive feedback” Janice said “Someone even said our window looks better than Selfridges!”
The Pepper shop sells a very wide range of items including furniture. The new Pepper Christmas cards will be on sale there from September.
Janice is always looking for new and exciting ways to promote the shop. She is currently planning her annual Halloween and Memorial displays. If anyone has any bright ideas for new displays she would be glad to hear from them on 01494 725932.
