Fun at the Bank Holiday Fete

Gully Mouse
On Sunday 27th August many people joined the fun at the IRHH/Pepper Bank Holiday fete. The fete, organised by supporter Martin Crowhurst was even more successful than last year and generated receipts of over £2500 for The Pepper Foundation. We were fortunate to receive generous sponsorship this year from Foresters, Elm Grove Branch who also ran a coconut shy on the day.

The Mayor of Dacorum, Cllr. Catherine Appleby, officially opened the show. Gentle Jazz entertained visitors with two hour long sessions of excellent music. In the arena The Blue Angel Majorettes performed a number of routines featuring girls of all age groups. The Delta Dog Display team gave varied demonstrations including an agility display. This was followed by K9 Games completing the fun dog show with competitors participating in musical mats and the fastest sausage eating competition. Frosty the cow, escorted by Jonathan Tweed Chairman of The Pepper Foundation, duly chose the winner of the bovine bingo competition.

Winners in the Fun Dog Show were as follows:-
