Friends raise £4200 in Memory of Mick and David

Chesham 41 Club raised a sensational £4200 at their race night on 29th November at Chesham British Legion Hall. The evening was organised to raise funds in memory of Mick Bruton and David Atkins. Mick, who died in May 2006, was cared fo by the IRHH nurses and his widow Chris chose IRHH to benefit from 50% of the proceeds. The other 50% was donated to the Hospice of St Francis who provided care for David.

Over 110 people participated in the evening with bidding for horses in the final race being exceptionally generous - a tribute to the popularity of both Mick and David.

Chris Bruton visited the IRHH offices in Tring accompanied by Mike White, 41 Club's Chairman, and presented a cheque for £2100 to Fundraiser Liz Clarke.
