All of the IRHH shops welcome donations of good quality clothing, bric a brac, books, toys, CD's and videos. Items of clothing that are not of sufficient quality to sell in the shops are put into black bin bags and sold on to textile recycling companies.

Last year IRHH raised over £15,000 in this way.

On December 9th, when Wycombe Wanderers FC are playing Barnet at Adams Park, there will be a “Rags 2 Riches” day when we would be grateful if everyone attending the match would bring a black bin bag full of old clothes or rags; textiles of any kind. There will be a van on site into which to throw the bags.

For every 400 bags thrown into the van IRHH will raise more than £1,000. There will be an opportunity to take your old mobile phones and ink cartridges along to Adams Park after Christmas.

IRHH Retail and Trading Manager, Lesley Gorton advised, “How do you decide what to bring? If you would not buy it, put it in a black bag and bring it along to the match against Barnet on 9th December. Old clothes…… old curtains……. Old towels…….Old blankets………………….., So not only will you be helping IRHH but you will be able to have a pre-Christmas clear out at home.”
