£9,000 for their three local hospices and The Thames Valley & Chiltern Air Ambulance

Directors of the Frost Partnership

On Wednesday 17th October, The Frost Partnership hosted a Charity Golf Day at Denham Golf Club in celebration of their centenary of the Frost name in local estate agency and have raised £9,000 so far from the proceeds of the day.

Nineteen national and well respected local Property Developers and Professional Firms took part in a round of golf, followed by dinner and an Auction of Promises.

This year as part of the centenary celebrations, The Frost Partnership has been raising funds for hospices in the areas that the Estate Agency serves; the six branches in Bucks are supporting The Iain Rennie Hospice, the three branches in the Thames Valley are supporting Thames HospiceCare, and their four branches in Middlesex are supporting The Shooting Star Hospice. The Company has also chosen to support The Thames Valley & Chiltern Air Ambulance.

Alan Frost was delighted with the outcome of the day's event. “We have worked hard and had a lot of fun in raising funds for our chosen charities this year. The Centenary Golf Day was a fantastic event and I would like to thank everyone who supported us with Promises for the Auction and to all the companies that took part and supported our Golf Day. Natwest Commerical were a huge support as our Co-sponsors and enabled us to make a further donation to the charities too. The hospices we have chosen are on our home ground and together with Thames Valley & Chiltern Air Ambulance they all need as much support that the community can give.”

Individuals from the Bucks branches have been supporting IRHH is various ways this year. On Sunday 11th June, Steve Ariss ran the Edinburgh Marathon in 25 degree heat. Speedy Estate Agent Steve got a third of the way towards achieving his aim of raising £1,000 for IRHH with a training run around his firm's offices a couple of weeks before the actual marathon. Steve challenged his colleagues for a £5 a go guess to how many miles he would cover on circuit. He set off from Frost's Amersham office, ran to Chalfont St Giles, then on to Chalfont St Peter, then Gerrards Cross, Flackwell Heath before finishing at the Beaconsfield office. By the end of the route he had run 19.84 miles.

Nicky Frost from the Beaconsfield office joined the IRHH British 10K team and ran the London road race on Sunday 2 July – another scorching hot day, raising money for IRHH. Well done Nicky.

IRHH would like to thank the Frost Partnership for their support.
