Peggy's annual book browse in the Anglican Church Hall in Tring on Saturday 14th April was once again a tremendous success, ably helped by her fantastic team of volunteers. Geoffrey Palmer opened the proceedings, chatted with buyers and helpers, happily had his photograph taken with many of them, and still managed to find a few book bargains. Not only were books on sale, but CD's, LP's, Videos, DVD's and even some pictures.

A very satisfied customer scooped an original Beatles LP for £20! Booklovers rummaged for purchases accompanied by Dave Clark on the piano and were refreshed with home made cakes, tea and coffee. Peggy and her team raised a fantastic £400 towards keeping our nurses on the road.
