Chesham Building Society Support IRHH - Cash for Votes but No Scandal


The Iain Rennie Hospice at Home recently benefited from an innovative inducement to cast votes.  The Chesham Building Society encouraged their members to vote at their recent AGM by offering to donate 10p for every completed proxy form they received. Over 2000 votes were received and the society donated a magnificent £250 to IRHH.


Sue Luff, Operations Manager at the Chesham Building Society told IRHH, “The Chesham Building Society is committed to helping local causes which provide real benefit to local communities. We are delighted to make this donation to IRHH at the same time as encouraging our members to vote.”
