A successful Flea Market

Pam Thomas on the celebrity
auction stall

The ‘For Pure Pleasure' group held a flea market in Old Amersham on Saturday 24th March. There were many stalls including books, videos, cakes, bric-a-brac and a celebrity silent auction. The celebrity auction stall had pictures of Geoffrey Palmer and Judy Dench as well as ‘As Time Goes By' DVD box sets. John Bly of ‘The Antiques Road Show' donated some of his ties to be auctioned off and the group was given a signed copy of the new Dick Francis hardback. The event raised a wonderful £1,148.80 towards IRHH and we would like to thank the group and their helpers for all their hard work!

Please keep an eye on our ‘What's On' section of the website for upcoming events!
