Sue Coyle ran the Reading Half Marathon on Sunday 25th March 2007 . Not only did she complete the challenge of running 13.1 miles but she has also raised over £1,700 which she is obviously delighted about.
Sue, “The Iain Rennie nurses did a fantastic job looking after my mum, so I am very pleased to be able to give something back. Last Sunday was a brilliant day and made it even more worth while knowing I was raising money for such a good charity. My husband Billy, my dad, my sister and my friend Clare, who was supposed to do the run with me, but had to pull out due to an injury, where all there to cheer me on. This was my first half marathon so now I have to do another one with Clare so she doesn't feel left out!!!!”
IRHH supporter Phil Wheeler also ran the Reading Half Marathon and has raised just under £1,250. Phil's account and piccies will be featured soon |
