President Colin Ware of Chesham Bowling Club chose IRHH as their club charity for the first half of the 2007 season. A selection of fundraising activities and fines had generated £500 for the kitty, before, on 30th July, the Chesham team played a match against Dennyside : a bowling association devoted to raising money for charity. Dennyside tour the UK playing matches against local clubs and in 2006 raised an incredible £46,000 for a variety of charities.

Liz Clarke joined members of both clubs for a post match dinner and after speaking about the work of IRHH a collection and raffle was held. This increased the funds to an incredible £1790 and a cheque for this total was presented to Liz by Peter Astall, President of Dennyside.

IRHH are most grateful to both clubs and their very generous members for such wonderful support.
