Peter Yendell cycles from Lands End to John O'Groats

Having completed the West to East 'Coast to Coast' walk in 2004, Peter Yendell decided to try and complete the South to North cycle ride as a personal challenge this summer.  Various friends and family subsequently suggested that this was a great opportunity to raise some funds for charity.

On 14th -29th July 2007 Peter Yendell set off on an arduous 1,000 mile cycle ride from John O'Groats to Lands End. Peter decided to support four different charities and has been raising money from his bike ride for the Iain Rennie Hospice at Home, the British Heart Foundation, the Leeds Children's Gift Fund and the Rowans Hospice.

In order to get the fundraising underway Peter committed £2,500 personally towards the monies raised. He will also receive matched funding from 3i plc which he is very grateful to receive.
