Beaujolais is a real hit at the Hit or Miss |

Mary Macken and customers of the Hit or Miss Pub in Amersham have raised a fantastic £715.17 for the Iain Rennie Hospice at Home. They raised the money by promoting the Iain Rennie Beaujolais on the restaurant wine list and behind the bar. To encourage customers to try the Beaujolais Nouveau the restaurant offered a tempting choice of French Chef's Specials for two weeks in November. All money raised through the wine sales came straight to IRHH. Landlady, Mary complimented IRHH on the wine. “We were very impressed with the quality of the wine” she said. “I gave a taste to many of our customers who initially refused to buy it based on previous Nouveau experience and almost all then bought some as they were pleasantly surprised. I think both this year's harvest and the particular quality of the domain you use has ensured a good end result.” We are very grateful to Mary and her customers for their support and generosity. |
