A fantastic result from the Tring Rotary Christmas Float |
![]() Robert, Santa and Elf |
In December the Tring Rotary club kindly nominated the Iain Rennie Hospice at Home to benefit from their Christmas float. Santa and his elves toured Tring to raise money for IRHH. There was a wonderful response from Tring residents and the float raised an amazing £1,960.46. Community fundraiser, Ruth Barber, was invited to attend a Tring Rotary Club meeting in January where she was presented with a further cheque for £435.95. This additional money was raised by taking a pony and trap, with Santa aboard, around the parts of Tring and Wigginton that the big float could not reach. This brings the overall total up to a phenomenal £2,396.41. We are so grateful for the continued support of Tring Rotary club and would like to say a big thank you to them all for their hard work and enthusiasm. |
