Full House for IRHH/WWFC's Biggest Quiz

Friday 26th January saw a packed Vere suite at Wycombe Wanderers Conference and Banqueting facility within the Adams Park stadium. The event was staged as part of the IRHH/WWFC Charity of the Year partnership. Over 250 competitors in 31 teams took part. Patron and regular WWFC Commentator Bill Turnbull acted as question master once again, reading the questions cleverly compiled by IRHH Chief Executive Rowena Dean. Several of the rounds had appropriately themed titles such as “Match of the Day” on celebrity couples, the “Book that Name” music round and “I love to go a wandering” on geography. The raffle and Spot the Ball competition were generously supported.

Winners of the Quiz this time were the IRHH Fundraising team – and no, it wasn't a fix, just natural talent! Despite the participation of a number of Wycombe Wanderers quiz teams, Spot the Ball was won by Sally Birch's team of IRHH shop volunteers.

Rennie Bear made a guest appearance and introduced himself to Colin Smith from WWFC, our very generous sponsor of the life-size mascot.
