Karl Trowbridge and Adam Walker and their teams take on the 3 Peaks Challenge

On 8th June we had two separate teams, Karl Trowbridge and his team and Adam Walker and his team, set off on the 3 Peaks Challenge aiming to finish 24 hours later having climbed Ben Nevis, Scafell and Snowdon.

Both teams successfully completed the challenge, with Karl's team raising £5790. Unfortunately Adam's knee failed at the top of Scafell Pike so it was a long and painful journey back down the mountain for him!

IRHH would like to thank each of the teams for putting themselves through this tough challenge to raise money for our nurses.
