From Friday 8th through to Sunday 10th June, the Ley Hill Flower Club presented their summer floral exhibition at the Ley Hill Memorial Hall in aid of the Iain Rennie Hospice at Home.
The theme of the exhibition was “A Night at the Movies” with each exhibit representing a movie including, Breakfast at Tiffany's, Out of Africa, Too Hot to Handle, Bambi, My fair Lady, Sweet Charity, A Clock Work Orange, Summer Holiday, The Constant Gardner, Casino Royale and many more – 39 exhibits in total. Each display was wonderful. The event was supported by “Gentle Jazz” who made a special appearance on the Sunday free of charge.
The small, friendly “working” club meets every fortnight in the Ley Hill Memorial Hall to enjoy arranging flowers. IRHH would like to thank Ley Hill Flower Club and Gentle Jazz for their support.
