Geoffrey Palmer awards the first ever Iain Rennie Hospice at Home Cup

The Tring Anglers held a special Open Fishing Match on the Grand Union Canal with all proceeds benefiting the Iain Rennie Hospice at Home. IRHH Patron and fishing fanatic, Geoffrey Palmer, joined around 60 local anglers at the end of an enjoyable day to present the Iain Rennie Hospice at Home Cup to winner Bill Mariner and to draw the raffle.

Organiser, Dick Pilkinton, presented Geoffrey with a life membership of The Tring Anglers which is celebrating its 60th anniversary in 2007 and has adopted the Iain Rennie Hospice at Home as its charity of the year. A final total for the day has yet to be announced but funds raised will be in excess of £500.
