215 Mile Bike Ride from Adams Park , High Wycombe to Torquay

Starting on Saturday 3rd March after the match vs Macclesfield, Chris completed the 215 mile ride in time to attend the match vs Torquay on Saturday, 10th March 2007.

His sponsorship has raised funds for the Iain Rennie Hospice at Home (40%), the Sue Ryder Care Hospice at Nettlebed (40%) and Wycombe Wanderers Supporters Trust (20%). Chris paid his own costs associated with his ride.

Chris set himself a fundraising target of £5,000. The Board of Wycombe Wanderers Supporters Trust and Wycombe Wanderers Founders Trust have donated £500 personally and asked all fans of Wycombe Wanderers to support Chris in this effort. As of 10th March, the total pledged is £4,077 which includes a pledge of £500 from the Official Wycombe Wanderers Supporters Association (OWWSA).

Chris undertook this ride in memory of his mother, who passed away in October 2006 and who benefited greatly in her last days from the fantastic care offered by the hospice nurses. Chris, “ Thank you to all those who kindly sponsor me - it will really spur me on to achieve my goal knowing that so many people are backing my effort.”
