A Busy Saturday at WWFC

Bear and Buckets

Our bucket collectors were once again out in force at the Wycombe Wanderers vs. Macclesfield match on Saturday 3rd March. Over £1000 was raised from donations and sales of Rennie Bears sporting a Wycombe Wanderers rosette.

The Wycombe team played in specially branded IRHH kit. Each player's shirt was signed after the match and the individual shirts are being auctioned to the highest bidder. Bids are invited by e-mail to fundraising@irhh.org or by calling the fundraising team on 01442 890222, specifying the amount bid and the name of the player whose shirt you are bidding for.

Prior to the match WWFC supporter Chris Perrin cycled around the pitch. Chris is raising sponsorship by cycling all the way to Torquay, arriving in time for next Saturday's match. Chris is fundraising for hospice charities including IRHH and is hoping to raise £5000 in total. When asked about his long distance cycle Chris said “However much it hurts me, I know it will be nothing compared to the pain my mother suffered with her cancer”. We wish Chris the very best of luck on his journey.

Once again we are very grateful to all at WWFC for their support. Our charity partnership has now topped £15,000!
