The sun shone on Sally Williams' open garden

On Thursday 24th May Sally Williams opened her beautiful garden in aid of IRHH. It was a glorious sunny day and people arrived in their droves. The garden had a huge plant stall as well as providing visitors with a ploughman's lunch and an array of cakes and jams for sale.

Sally has opened her garden annually for 20 years and has raised in excess of £57,500 in total for a number of local causes. This year Sally hopes to have raised over £4000 for the Iain Rennie Hospice at Home.

We would like to thank Sally and her helpers for all their hard work on the day and the lead up to the opening.

IRHH would like to organise an open garden scheme in 2008 and are looking for all kinds of gardens to open for us. If you or anyone you know would like to open their garden for us please contact Ruth Barber on either 01442 890222 or rbarber@irhh.org for more information.
