Pre Christmas dinner at the Jasmine, Beaconsfield

Ruth Barber and Nick Wastnage

On Monday 19th November the Rhyme and Reason Fundraising Group gathered together with friends, family and supporters at the Jasmine restaurant, Beaconsfield . The evening kicked off with some wonderful food and then members of the committee read out poems from the new edition of Rhyme and Reason.

Rhyme and Reason is an anthology of stories, poems and articles by new and established writers, all of its proceeds are donated to IRHH.

The raffle was then drawn with lots of lucky winners and the evening finished off with Nick Wastnage (Rhyme and Reason chairman) presenting Ruth Barber (IRHH Community Fundraiser) with a cheque for £1,500! We would like to say a huge thank you to the Rhyme and Reason fundraising group for their continued hard work and support.

Rhyme and Reason is the perfect Christmas present or stocking filler so please come along to the Gerrards Cross book shop on Saturday 1 st December at 10am-12pm where Geoffrey Palmer be signing the new edition! If you are unable to make this date and would like a copy please contact the fundraising team on 01442 890222 or rbarber@irhh.org
