Chesham Young Guns Vs Seniors Charity Football Match

On Sunday 19th August, Chesham Young Guns took on Seniors in a charity football match to raise funds for the Iain Rennie Hospice at Home. The torrential rain did not dampen the spirit of the day, and the Seniors proved that experience can triumph over youth, beating Chesham Young Guns 2-1. Kelvin Thomas, who organized the match said, ‘ The game was played in the true respect the occasion merited. Thank you to everyone who helped to make the match a success'. The Elephant and Castle pub kindly provided a free buffet following the game with donations to Iain Rennie. In total, the day raised a wonderful £450. Thank you to Kelvin and everyone involved for choosing to support the Iain Rennie Hospice at Home.
