Preparations are under way for the summer 2010 Pepper Rock Festival. Last year's event was rumoured to be the best family event this side of the West End. We would hate you to miss the chance of seeing the show in 2010 and helping us to raise money for the Pepper Foundation*. So put these show dates in your diary: 16th, 17th, 18th, 21st, 22nd and 24th July 2010. Click here for more information.
The show is run solely by volunteers. Last year the show raised £42,232 for the Pepper Foundation. With your help we hope to raise at least this sum again in 2010.
We need volunteers to help man the box office, hand out leaflets, canvas local shops and businesses for support, sell programmes and raffle tickets, run the merchandise stall and help in the marquee or theatre. So if you can't sing, dance or strum a guitar you can still help. Any help is welcome even for an hour. You can make a difference.
For more information please click here to email the organisers or come along to the first open meeting for all volunteers to take place at Berkhamsted Cricket Club, Kitcheners Field, Castle Hill, Berkhamsted HP4 1HE on 13th January at 7.30pm.

Santa and his merry band of helpers were out and about in the Tring area, raising funds for IRHH. Click here to read how together the teams raised over £2,600.
Special thanks must go to Derek Townsend, Brian Flanders and Roger Ayres for turning up each night in Tring to support us with this venture and to Chris de Lisle who helped in Marsworth. Huge thanks also to all the fantastic elves who walked many miles, often in inclement weather, to support Santa and IRHH.
Santa would like to wish everyone all the very best for 2010 and hopes to see you all next Christmas.
Before the end of 2009 we received a cheque for £4,420 from the Champagne Academy. Steve Winchcombe, Academy Chairman, chose to support IRHH during his year in office, having seen at first hand the work of the Charity. We would like to thank all the members of the Champagne Academy for their wonderful generosity.

In December some of the members of Tring Squash Club gathered for a very successful lunch at the Valiant Trooper in Aldbury. The event has gone from strength to strength since it was first held in 2000; one reason being the adoption of a theme based on a TV comedy. This year's theme was Dad's Army!
