Are you and your colleagues bright, smart, innovative and community minded? If so, put your business acumen to work for a local charity!
The Accumulator Challenge is an exciting way for teams to work together to raise at least £1000 for Iain Rennie Grove House Hospice Care (IRGH). We're looking for businesses to put together teams of no more than 8 people (you can enter more than one team!) to take up the challenge of turning an initial sum of £50 into at least £1,000 in aid of a really worthwhile cause.
How can you raise the money?
Provided it is legal, and doesn't compromise Health & Safety regulations it's entirely up to individual teams. You may want to use some of your £50 to buy ingredients to make cakes which you then sell. From the cake sale you might then organise a quiz night. You could organise a sponsored event, a car wash or a fashion parade. You may even have a brilliant fundraising idea of your own!
Whatever you do, you must keep accurate accounts for the Challenge which should be sent to IRHH at the end of the task.
Who is taking part?
To make it interesting, we pit a number of teams against each other to see who can raise the most from their £50. If you would like to take part, please email Linda on lpetrons@irhh.org to register your interest and she will let you know when the next Accumulator Challenge will start.
Will there be prizes?
This is a competition and that means prizes! Results will be announced and prizes awarded at a special Presentation Evening at the end of the Challenge. Prizes will be awarded for
