Join schools in fundraising for IRHH based on the theme of butterflies and caterpillars (the butterfly is a key aspect of our logo and brand). Your fundraising can take place on any day during the Spring Term 2011. Below is a pick list of fundraisers. Choose one or more fundraising activities or come up with your own idea! |
Butterfly Face Painting (£1)
Parents, older children or staff to set up a face painting stall at break time, lunch time or school fete
Butterfly/Caterpillar Mufti Day (£1)
Dress up as a butterfly, caterpillar or simply wear wings for a day
Hungry Caterpillar/Butterfly Poetry Competition (£1)
Poetry competition could be based on caterpillar to butterfly lifecycle
Wordplay & Colouring Booklet (£1)
Sell at school (IRHH to provide)
Butterfly/Caterpillar Messy Session (£1)
Ideal for after school club
Butterfly Cakes
Bake cakes at home to sell at break time. Young enterprise activity. Baking lesson, cakes sold to parents after school
Butterfly/Caterpillar Race (£1 To Enter Or Sponsorered)
To be incorporated into the annual sports day or as a one off race as part of a PE lesson. Pay to enter, wear wings, get sponsored?
Art & Craft Exhibition (£1)
Display crafts made during the day: cocoon craft, butterfly masks, hand painting, paper fold painting, butterfly lacing (laminated cards - whole punched), butterfly collage, butterfly finger puppets
Butterfly Card Art Competition
Simple colouring competition
