Our 2010 Virgin London Marathon Team raises over £50,000!

After months of arduous training through ice and snow during one of the coldest winters in 30 years our team of 34 intrepid runners completed the 26.2 mile race on Sunday 25th April 2010 - maintaining the 100% finishing record of our teams from previous years. The weather cooled down and the IRHH cheering squad managed to spot the majority of the IRHH runners amongst the sea of people - although sometimes we only just managed to catch the backs of our speediest runners!

Our sincere thanks go to all of our brave runners for putting themselves through such a challenging experience and for collectively raising over £50,000!

IRHH holds a number of its own places for the London Marathon and with the popularity of this event ever increasing the competition for those places is getting tougher than ever!

Online Ballot
The official Virgin London Marathon ballot will open on 4th May 2010 so whether you would like to apply for an Iain Rennie Golden Bond place or not we advise all interested runners to apply in the ballot initially to increase their chances of obtaining a place. So put a note in your diary to visit the online ballot website immediately after this year's marathon as the 2010 ballot closed within 2 days last year due to overwhelming demand.

Once you have applied in the ballot please contact Iain Rennie to register your interest in applying for a Golden Bond place and you will then be invited to the IRHH open evening held in September 2010. Following the open evening we will allocate our places to the successful applicants.
