Sun shines on the Robin Hood Bike Ride

The 2nd Robin Hood Bike Ride was held on Sunday 21st September with over double the amount of riders from last year's ride with nearly 40 riders taking part!  The route covered 17.5 miles starting and finishing at the Robin Hood Pub in Tring.  The weather was glorious as the cyclists made their way around the picturesque route up to Ivinghoe, Mentmore, Cheddington and then back down to Marsworth and Tring where they were greeted with a welcome drink!

There was also a raffle held on the day and together with the pledged sponsorship money the event looks set to raise well over £2000!

Many thanks to Terry and Stuart from the Robin Hood, Annie and Phillip Norgan for organising the event, the volunteer marshals and of course to the cyclists themselves for making the event such a success.

The Robin Hood Team will be getting together another group of eager cyclists for the London to Brighton Bike Ride in June 2009 so if you are interested in joining them drop in to the Robin Hood and speak to Terry - see you all again next year!
