youngest fundraisers
at St Nicholas Nursery
Encouraged by Manager, Linda Brindle and her team, youngsters at St Nicholas Nursery in Hemel Hempstead have raised an incredible £580 to support IRHH patients.
Some of the braver pupils presented a big box of money and a lovely book of photos to Rennie Bear who visited to thank the children for all their help.
The children have participated in a variety of fundraising events over the last year. One very successful initiative was to charge for tickets for the nativity play - parents were happy to make a charitable donation in return for seeing the children as the traditional characters from the Christmas story as well as some very cute reindeer. Top of the popularity list with the children was bouncy bouncy time when an inflatable castle was brought in - Rennie Bear was sorry to have missed out on that one!
