Jenny Morgan's 3 Peaks Challenge
Jenny Morgan and a team of four friends (plus one driver) took part in the 3 Peaks Challenge on the 5-6 th July 2008 with Action Medical Research and raised over £800 for IRHH in the process!
The team did extremely well and although they did not complete the challenge in 24 hours they were the fastest female team to complete the course overall after climbing Ben Nevis, Scafell Pike and Mount Snowden in 27 hours and 27 minutes. Each member of the team raised money for a chosen charity and Jenny chose to support IRHH following the recent death of a close friend who was cared for by Iain Rennie nurses during the final months of her life.
The team underwent a huge amount of training and commitment for this challenge which included giving up alcohol, so well done Jenny - a fantastic achievement!
