An oarsome day at Marlow regatta

IRHH had four teams competing in the Dragon Boat Racing event at Marlow Regatta on Sunday 15th June, and they all enjoyed a fantastic, sunny day on the river whilst raising money for IRHH.

In total, 39 teams took part in the spectacular event. Each team had 3 races against 2 other teams, and the 9 teams with the overall fastest times went through to the semi finals, and then the final.

The riverbank was packed with supporters and spectators who were glad to see the sun shining as they cheered the boats on to the sound of the drums being beaten by the drummer in each of the boats.

The IRHH teams didn't quite make it to the semis, but they all had a great day, and we are grateful for their efforts in entering their teams and raising money for IRHH.
