A day with a difference in Dacorum!
Different teams within Dacorum Borough Council have pledged their support to IRHH by organising a fundraising activity. Yesterday (13th May) there was lots of merriment at "Make a Fool of Your Manager" day when senior council employees dressed in costume and toured the council's offices collecting donations totalling close to £400 in 1 hour!
The event was organised by Joley Brindle, Arts Education Officer, and colleague Lynne Hunt. The dressing up theme of cartoon characters was chosen via an employee vote.
The choice of costumes was top secret until the day itself when the Mayor Cllr Brian Ayling looked spectacular as Buzz Lightyear. Chief Executive Daniel Zammit starred as Batman, Jacquie Campbell looked stunning as Dorothy and Mike Peters was a striking Zorro.
