The Iain Rennie Hospice at Home has taken delivery of two shiny new vans thanks to the generosity of The Game Club, organisers of the Chiltern Hills Vintage Vehicle Rally, which provided the funding for the vehicles, and Perry's of Aylesbury who supplied the Ford van at cost and sponsored the signwriting.
Chief Executive, Maddie Blackburn, was presented with the keys to a Ford Transit and a smaller Citroen Berlingo van by Game Club Chairman, Dave Heasman, at the 2008 rally at Weston Turville on 18th May. The vans will be put to immediate use delivering and collecting goods including clothing and furniture for our nine shops.
"These vehicles will help us raise more funds to care for patients across the Chilterns area," said Maddie. "They are a fantastic and incredibly generous gift and we thank everyone involved for helping us."
