Ballinger WI Present Stunning Quilt
Ballinger WI have presented IRHH with a beautiful quilt for the Christmas Treats raffle. The quilt was made entirely from scraps of material by 8 members: Pamela Garner, Valerie Edwards, Anne Ash, Rita Ruttle, Judy Morgan, Brenda Finlay, Alison Weir and Gayle Duncan. It took the ladies 18 months to make the quilt which features plain and patterned fabrics in blue, green and red and will make an eye-catching addition to any bedroom. The quilt was presented by the ladies to Liz Clarke, Head of Fundraising, at the WI meeting on 14th October which featured an interesting talk on graphology by Ruth Riley.
