Geoffrey celebrates 20 years as IRHH patron
IRHH patron, Geoffrey Palmer OBE, visited nurses and staff at our Tring
office recently to accept an award for 20 years of continuous support
for the charity.
Chief Executive, Maddie Blackburn, explained, "We owe a great deal to a growing number of supporters who have been with us for 20 years or more. In recognition of two decades of help, it is our custom to present them with a small token of our gratitude in the form of a small etched glass paperweight. Geoffrey has been a patron over 20 years but was unable to be with us at our Annual General Meeting when the recipients are recognised, so we were delighted that he was able to pay us a special visit to accept his award."
