Dacorum Borough Councillor Denise Rance visited our Tring shop on 21st August to unveil the marketing screen which she funded for IRHH.
The screen is an eye-catching addition to the shop and much like the screens you see in Post Offices and banks, we hope that visitors to the shop will learn about our organisation, whilst browsing or waiting to pay for goods.
We are very grateful to Councillor Rance who kindly agreed to pay for the screen from the money available to her to spend on community projects. Having unveiled the screen, Denise and Councillor Nick Hollinghurst were impressed by the presentation, which covered all aspects of our organisation from nursing and finances to fundraising, shopping and volunteering.

The presentation has been a collaborative effort, with staff and volunteers working together to produce the end result.
Communications Officer, Stephen Biggs, said: "The screen would not have been possible without the funding from Councillor Rance, the expertise of our volunteers Derek Coils and Daphne Watts, and the skills of our IT team, Peter Holliday and Adam Ridgway. We hope that customers and supporters will learn a little more about our work whilst visiting the shop in Tring. We would like to fit a screen in all of our shops, but we require external funding to do this as we don't want to divert any money away from our nursing service. If anyone would like to discuss helping us with this project, please contact me on 01442 890222 or by email at sbiggs@irhh.org "
Visit the Tring shop today to view the presentation - and pick up a bargain or two while you're there!
