Santa and his merry band of helpers have been out and about in the Tring area, raising funds for IRHH. Tring's annual Traditional Christmas Festival saw the newly decorated sleigh make its first outing of the year when Santa came to visit. With a location outside the M&S store, Santa and his sleigh certainly attracted many local children, who were delighted to have the opportunity to see Santa in person, donating £111 for the privilege. Santa's helpers handed out sweets to the children whilst Ron and Sue Lanning expertly ran an IRHH tombola, which raised a fantastic £396.

With the familiar sound of popular Christmas songs echoing the local streets, flashing sleigh lights and tinsel glistening in the moonlight, Santa and his helpers hit the streets of Tring and Marsworth this month to bring cheer to local residents, who have generously donated in excess of £2,130 this year. IRHH would like to thank Derek Townsend, Brian Flanders and Roger Ayres for turning up each night in Tring to support us with this venture and to Chris de Lisle who helped in Marsworth. Special thanks also go to all the fantastic elves who walked many miles, often in inclement weather, to support Santa and IRHH.
Santa would like to wish everyone a very Happy Christmas and all the very best for 2010.
