A Generous Helping from the Handy Croissant!
Friday 10th July saw one of our Honorary Vice Presidents (Christine Nisbet) up and about early to accept a cheque for £1480 from a group of business men and women called "Handy Croissant" - a neat name for a networking group who meet for breakfast to swop contacts and ideas. They held a Golf Event and chose Iain Rennie as their charity to benefit from proceeds of that day. They raised £740 and that was matched by Barclays Bank so the grand result was £1480 - a wonderful amount of money for which we thank Handy Croissant very much indeed.
