Brenda Blethyn helps raise over £1,700
Back in April, on a pleasant spring evening, over 120 guests arrived at the impressive National Film School in Beaconsfield for a private viewing of the film 'Saving Grace'. Organised by the Beaconsfield Fundraising Group, the event raised a wonderful £1,735, continuing the impressive run of successful events held by the Group.
The film itself, which stars Brenda Blethyn, Leslie Phillips and Martin Clunes amongst others, was an excellent choice, providing many laughs, and tears, from the audience. Set in Cornwall, the film follows Grace and her determination not to lose her home after her dead husband leaves her with serious debts. With beautiful scenery, excellent characters and some very funny scenes it is a real feel-good film and one well-worth watching.
Mary Bischoff and other members of the Group are thanked for organising the evening and for raising another fantastic sum of money.
