Melanie's Sponsored Skydive
On 24th May 2009, Melanie Whitmore took part in a sponsored skydive to raise funds for IRHH in memory of her friend, Mandy Croft (Foster) who passed away on June 23rd 2008 after a bravely fought battle against breast cancer.
Melanie explained that 'Mandy gave so much to so many people and was part of my life for a very long time but sadly not long enough. I am so proud to have been able to call her my friend, I miss her every day. To give something back I decided to jump out of a plane to raise funds for the Iain Rennie Hospice At Home that provided care, support and nursing for Mandy.'
