Santa Dog Stanley gears up for a run in the park
IRHH and Pepper Foundation are looking for Santa dogs and their owners to take part in our Santas on the Run event at Lowndes Park , Chesham, on Sunday 29th November at 10.30am.
Stanley Buchanan is one of the first Santa dogs to sign up for the run. His owner Karen said: "Stanley and I are very excited to be involved in such a fun festive fundraising event and would like to encourage as many people as possible, with or without four-legged friends, to take part."
Karen, who lives in Berkhamsted, has been working as Administrator for the Pepper Foundation for seven years and thoroughly enjoys supporting the diverse and innovative fundraising events which Pepper and IRHH organise. The event offers either a 1km mini run or a 5km run. Entrants can choose to run, walk or jog the route, and the money they raise will help fund the nursing services provided for adults and children across the Chilterns area.
IRHH and Pepper Foundation are looking for 600 Santas to take part in this event and have set an ambitious fundraising target of £20,000 which will be split between the two charities. So get involved, register and help raise much needed funds!
