Fun at the Fayre

Beaconsfield Country Fayre took place on a sunny (yes sunny!) August Bank Holiday. The fayre involves numerous local organisations and funds were raised for IRHH, St Marys Church and various Beaconsfield charities. Iain Rennie's Beaconsfield Fundraising group ran the raffle which had no less than 50 prizes all displayed at their marquee.

A spectacular stretcher race, won by a team from the local rugby club, took place with participants racing through the town. With hot competition, it was a rough ride for the stretcher-borne "casualties". Other attractions included a climbing wall, bouncy castle, funfair, assorted refreshments, charity and trade stalls and a balloon launch. The town was packed with people enjoying the traditional fun of the fayre.
